One potential cure that could be done within the village would be by purifying the contaminated seventh fonons in Ion's body rather than removing them, causing the miasma to separate and dissipate (provided there are no fonists in the area that could accidentally absorb the miasma into their own body).
This could be done using an arte that takes the principles of fonic artes (which allows for fonons to be gathered in one place) but is instead powered by another source. The contaminated fonons would essentially be "cleaned" by being pulled from Ion's body, separated from the miasma, and then recycled back in naturally.
