[And so, he struggles for all of 3 seconds before just accepting his fate, though not before laughing quite a bit. This is ridiculous and completely undignified, but honestly? He doesn't care.]

A-All right, all right! You've proven your point! Put me down!

[He doesn't sound very convincing when he still can't stop giggling.]

Too late. I have lots of stairs to make up for.

[ And this is actually helping diffuse his nerves. Which is a good thing, considering he's almost at the critical point here.

Kohan carries Ion partially down the hall, then into an unoccupied room and closes the door behind the two of them. Even though it's unoccupied, the heat has been turned on so the unit is nice and warm. He doesn't set Ion down until he's standing right outside one of the bedrooms.

Kohan had considered going for romantic decorating, but he hadn't read nearly enough of those books to have any real idea what to do, and what little idea he had all seemed cheesy whenever he considered going through with them. So instead the only decorations are a fresh set of sheets on the bed and a semi-opaque set of curtains hung on the window, enough to let in plenty of sunlight while still offering them privacy. Not that there was much danger given how high up they were, but hey, some residents of Luceti can fly.

Kohan was sure he'd come up with something special to say at this point, but all his words had vanished at the hands of his nervousness. So all he gets out is a warm, if slightly timid, ]

Merry Christmas.

[Naturally Ion is relieved once he's set down on the ground again, but before he even has a chance to comment, he catches sight of the room, now well aware of just what Kohan's gift was supposed to be. He stares at the room only a second longer before looking back up at Kohan, a smile and a blush both prominent on his face.]

Oh, it's perfect! It's just what I wanted...

[He takes Kohan's hands in his own and leans up, pressing his lips gently against Kohan's for only a moment before pulling back again.]

[ Aaand cue blush! ]

Y-you... don't really have to put it like that...

[ But he starts slowly unwrapping the scarf from Ion's neck. ]

Come on, it's kind of warm in here, isn't it?

[ he's trying to be smooth ok please don't laugh ion ]

[He's not laughing, but that stutter is so cute that it brightens the smile on his face even further. As Kohan pulls his scarf away, he nods, reaching up to start undoing Kohan's jacket.]

Yes, you're right. Perhaps we should make things a bit more comfortable for the two of us?

[...which may take a bit more time for Ion, seeing as he wears about 5 layers of sweaters and whatnot.]

[ Sounds good to Kohan. After all, maybe he'll take so many layers off of Ion that he'll stop paying attention and not have his nerves get the better of him when he's finally on the last one.

So getting started on Ion's coat at least. ]

[Oh, that coat is coming off. Ion lets it fall off his shoulders and onto the ground, before reaching down to start pulling his first sweatshirt off over his head -- and taking a second one with the first while he's at it. But the next one is a button-down, so Kohan can work on that while Ion reaches up to tug on Kohan's shirt.]

[He's still being patient and taking things slow, but he's starting to get excited for this -- something likely very evident by the look on his face.]

[ How is that slow, you just took two shirts off at once.

Kohan does set to work on the buttons! It's a lot easier given that his fingers have warmed up from the cold outside, but he's still a little clumsy and needs to pause when Ion pulls his shirt over his head. All that remains beneath that is just his loose workout shirt.

There we go, buttons undone. ]

[Never underestimate how many layers Ion wears. Two shirts at a time is still pretty slow.]

[With the buttons undone, he shrugs the sweater off and onto the ground, revealing... another button-down sweater. But this time he helps with the buttons from the top as well, with a soft chuckle.]

I guess I prepared for the cold a little more than necessary.

Seems like it, [ he agrees, chuckling a little as well. ]

It's better than if you got sick, though.

Yes, that's true. [Aaand the sweater is off.]

[But that was the last one, okay. All he has left on is his shirt. But rather than pull that off, instead he takes a step forward, resting his hands up on Kohan's shoulders and standing on the tips of his toes to lean up and kiss him again.]

[ Noooooo Ion you killed the momentum!

But... a kiss is pretty nice. We can interrupt for that. And maybe Kohan nudging the two of them towards the bed, because they've got to head that way sooner or later... ]

[Hey now, they've got to the establish a bit of mood first before just stripping everything off! And besides, Ion likes kissing and this is his present okay.]

[But he pulls back just enough to head towards the bed, leading Kohan by his shirt before gently pushing against him -- trying to push him down onto the bed.]

[ Oh Ion are you topping this time?

But Kohan follows along, going down onto the bed and scooting back a little to give Ion room to join him. ]

["This time"? Kohan, please.]

[Ion follows, crawling onto the bed and kneeling over Kohan. He rests back on his knees and reaches down, running his hand along Kohan's cheek and brushing a strand of hair away from his face.]

[And then he leans down and resumes the kiss from before -- yes, this was definitely the best way to spend the day.]

[ It is pretty good, yeah. And you know, if this is as far as they go, Kohan wouldn't mind that at all.

He pulls Ion against him, pressing their chests together as he kisses back. Even though they both still have shirts on, the contact feels almost electric. ]

[Kohan's body feels so warm, leaving Ion with just a bit of regret that he hadn't pulled Kohan's undershirt off as well to allow for more direct contact. But that was all right -- there was still plenty of time for getting to that point, after all.]

[Laying against Kohan, Ion moves his hands up into Kohan's hair, gently raking his fingers through the strands. He wanted Kohan to really enjoy this, and that meant doing every little thing he could to get him going -- and the more Kohan enjoyed himself, the more Ion would, too.]

[ Oh, that feels good. Kohan is momentarily distracted, shivering at the fingers in his hair. He gives a low murmur.

Kohan slides one hand down a little and slips it under Ion's shirt, just getting that skin to skin contact. It feels really good okay. ]

[That low murmur sends a shiver down Ion's spine, encouraging him to keep going. Every touch against his skin feels better than the last, and he can already feel his body growing hot against Kohan's.]

[But he pulls back -- just for a moment -- so he can sit up and pull his shirt off over his head and toss it aside. And now it's Kohan's turn -- he's already tugging at his shirt for Kohan to pull off too.]

[ Well okay! That shirt is coming off, too, leaving both of them with just pants now. But this time, instead of kissing Ion on the lips, Kohan goes for Ion's neck. He places his lips there as he slowly traces his fingers along Ion's bare back. ]

[Ion lets out a soft, dreamy sigh when Kohan's lips reach his neck, his hands finding their way back up into Kohan's hair. It feels good, and in combination with Kohan's fingers running along his back like that, it's not long before his body starts reacting a little -- something Kohan will probably notice with how close their bodies are right now.]

[ Ooh yes he notices. It's almost impossible not to. Kohan is still a little nervous when it comes to that, but this is almost as much to push himself out of his comfort zone as it is to give Ion a good time.

He shifts a bit to start putting kisses on Ion's chest. He's trying not to hesitate too much, but Kohan is still going slowly. ]

[Kohan can go as slow as he wants, as long as he keeps his focus in that particular area while going slow -- the way Ion's grip increases almost to the point of pulling Kohan's hair as he moves across his collar bone should be enough of a sign that he's doing plenty to give Ion a good time right now.]

[Thankfully he catches himself doing it and smooths down Kohan's hair a bit as if to apologize. He's not doing it on purpose, really!]

[ He doesn't really mind the hair-pulling! It actually feels kind of nice when he's in the mood. He moves a bit lower, but with their current positions it's hard to get much further than that. ]

[Well, he'll have to articulate that if he wants more. For now, Ion's trying not to do it, but occasionally his hands will get just a little too rough.]

[But if it's the position that's making things difficult, clearly they'll just have to move. And Ion is at the point where he's already looking for more. Perhaps Kohan should have a turn on top for awhile?]

[...of course, Ion's nowhere near strong enough to flip Kohan over, so instead he'll just be kind of nudging and tugging on his shoulder.]
