[Amidst the arriving new feathers comes a boy who was certainly not new, but had also been recently kidnapped. Back from his first mallynapping, Ion has been unceremoniously dumped on the edge of the river in the north side of the village. He has just enough strength to pull himself ashore before rolling onto his back and staring up at the sky. Despite being exhausted and looking rather pale (moreso than usual), it seems as though he got off easy this time around.

He closes his eyes and fights to catch his breath, feeling rather disorientated at the moment.]

[Kyle is patrolling around the village, escorting the new feathers if he notices one. But seeing half dead boy laying near a river, isn't as he expected. He rushes next to Ion and checks whether is he still alive. Have a savior from other Tales series.]

Hey! Are you alright?! Hang in there!

[Ion cracks his eyes open and looks up at Kyle, still a bit dazed. His voice is weak when he tries to speak.] ...what... who are... you?

[Kyle knew Ion that he isn't new feather. Ion was just like him, trapped in Luceti about a month. But Kyle couldn't let anyone suffer from the villains, Kyle joined Blue Rouges after all. Kyle holds Ion to his arm.]

It's Kyle. Look, worry about yourself first. Do you live somewhere here?

I... live in h-house one. [He blinks a few times, trying to keep himself awake.]

I'll bring you there. Hold on tight.

[Kyle is same with Ion's height and much more slender, but can't compare with his strength. He carries Ion on his back and heads as fast as he could to the location.]

[That was certainly the last thing Ion had expected. He let out a small gasp, unable to do much more but hang their limply as he was carried.]

[Kyle severally look on his back to make sure Ion won't fall off, but he almost did. Just few minutes later, they reach the location. Kyle don't think there's someone inside the house.]

Hey, are you still awake?

Y...Yes. [It was rather hard to sleep when you were thrown over someone's shoulder, no matter how tired you were.]

[Oh good, he still awake. Kyle is kinda worry if Ion collapse behind him. Kyle gonna budge inside the house and let him rest. Slowly, he places Ion on the couch nearby.]

I'll get some water if you want to.

[A couch! Comfort! Ion quickly relaxes into it with a sigh as his eyes slide shut, a thankful smile on his face.] N-No, that's all right... th... thank you so much.

You're welcome.

[His worry fades as he sees Ion's smile. He gets up, find a blanket instead and covers him to get some comfort rest. Letting Ion alone isn't a good idea, so he's going to stay with him until someone gets back.]

[Nephry comes out of her room carrying her journal...to find this blond boy in the living room]

Excuse me?

[What? There's someone in the house! Kyle needs to learn how to knock the door before busting in. He stands up and bows apologizing.]

I-I'm sorry, miss! I don't know there is somebody in this house. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a thief or something! I found him unconscious outside, so I just brought him in.

Found whom?

[and then she spots Ion]

...I see. He does live here.

[He glances to sleeping Ion.]

He's barely move his body, I had no idea what made him so exhausted. By looking at his condition, it hard for me to leave him alone.

He was kidnapped. [which explains most of his exhaustion, but not all of it] Thank you for bringing him here.

[Another kidnapping issue, it makes him restless.]

I heard a lot of victims got kidnapped. But why?

[Makes a short nod.] You're welcome.

How long have you been here?

Almost a month.

And in that time, no one has explained kidnapping to you?

Well, people explained to me that I was 'kidnapped from my world' and placed me here. But never heard of someone been kidnapped twice.

[Life on the north edge (literally!) of the village has been full of activity lately. Nephry took a walk to clear her head, with all this leaving going on...and there is a greenie by the river]

Fon Master?

[Ion doesn't respond at first, but he hears her. He takes a breath and tries to will himself to sit up, but that plan is thwarted by the total lack of energy in his limbs. His head lifts a few inches off the ground before falling back with a whimper.

Maybe asking for help was a better idea!] N... Nephry?

[Oh yes. She's headed right his way now, kneeling there next to the river and just sort of looking at him]

Are you hurt?

[[ooc: ...So I fail. Has he been living in their house?]]

[His voice is slow and quiet when he speaks.] I... don't know. I can't... s-so tired.

[[ooc: Yes he has, but I fail in not doing any kind of moving-in post sooo don't worry about it! xD;;;]]

[well, taking a nap out here at least won't result in him freezing to death anymore, but it's not exactly the best idea either. Nephry knows there are bad-guy types around.]

We're not that far from the house.

[He opens his eyes and smiles weakly; home was close! That was probably the best thing he'd heard in days.] All... all right.

[Biting his lip to keep himself focused, he tries once more to sit up, and is met with success! ...kind of. He still had to stand. Which he started to try and do, but quickly began to stumble before he even had both feet on the ground.]

[as though she would let him try any of that without moving in to help him. Ion being as small and light as he is, she should have no trouble supporting him and helping him up]

[And despite having not asked for help, Ion was clinging as tightly to Nephry as he could. And even that really wasn't tight at all, given how drained he was feeling.] Th... thank you, Nephry.

You're welcome. [well, she has a pretty tight hold on him, too, to keep him standing. Anise is going to be so snarly when she finds out he's in this state, isn't she?] You're not in pain, are you?

[That is very likely! Ion is still biting on his lip, his mind begging to just let him rest... but he wanted to at least be able to walk back!] A little. It's nothing I can't handle... f-for awhile.

[there's no sense in beating around the bush with him. She's pretty sure Ion only looks childish]

I would prefer it if you could manage until we reached the house, but if you can't, it would be better for you to be honest about it.

[Nephry had a point, and it was far more likely that Ion would just collapse on the way there anyway. As much as he didn't want to be any more of a burden, he nodded.] I... I'm sorry. I don't think I can walk. I-I can barely keep my eyes open... l-let alone move.

Then you should sit back down and just rest.

[which she is now going to help him do]

[He mumbles a small apology again as he's lowered back to the ground, immediately laying on his back and shutting his eyes with a sigh of relief. It was no wonder that he was so tired. Just using one Daathic Fonic arte tired him out; the Malnosso kept him using them off and on for days. ~~That and his mun is mean.~~]

[she's not going to up and leave him there. So she takes a seat beside him, wishing she's brought her journal - never mind that she took this walk to get away for a bit - and hoping someone else comes along, or Ion gets enough rest to continue]

[Ion's wish to stay conscious seemed rather futile. The moment his eyes were closed everything seemed to disappear...]

[[ooc: Ion's pretty much out of it right now and probably won't get anywhere unless he's carried, or if Nephry waits with him for a good while. ; ; Do you want to wait for a thread-jump from someone walking by?]]

[[ooc: It's up to you. We could try to merge with Kyle somehow, or just wait around.]]

[[ooc: Well then, since Kyle already did run over and carry Ion back, merging with his posts would be easiest! Is there any reason Nephry might have left for the second it took for Ion to get carried back home? Like, to get help since it didn't look like Ion was going to wake back up?]]

[[ooc: Sure! She would probably have gone home quickly to get her journal, in case she needed to get someone's attention]]

[[ooc: Awesome! In that case, Kyle up there is just waiting inside the house (fff he broke in) until someone shows up so Ion isn't there by himself, while Ion is... sleeping. He's so exciting when he's worn out. 8D]]
