[After being flung into countless numbers of trees from the third party's traps during the last draft, Ion swore to himself he'd never climb another tree for as long as he lived. Obviously, he didn't count on finding a baby bird having fallen out of its nest when he made that declaration. And with the mother bird calling for her child overhead, Ion couldn't just leave the poor thing there to die.]
[Thankfully, getting to the top of the tree where the nest was had been surprisingly easy! Getting down... not so much. He didn't notice the lower branch breaking until after he stepped off of it, and now that he was on his way down, he found himself stuck. He wasn't too high up, but this particular tree had quite a few thorn bushes around it. He'd been able to avoid them going up for the most part, but if he were to try jumping, the chance of him falling into one of these bushes was rather high. He wasn't too far off the path, just a ways north of the village, so hopefully someone will spot him.]
[Though, in restrospect, today was probably a bad day to wear green.]
~
[Assuming the princess is eventually rescued, Ion will be spending the remainder of the day at the library in search of a few new books to read before eventually returning home, his clothes still looking a bit worse for wear.]
[[ooc: Feel free to break time and space for the first part, or run into him walking towards the library looking... well, like he fell out of a tree.]]

Dist observed the spectacle, turning his body around to face the two. That...was extremely strange. Cute, maybe a little, but strange. Dist still couldn't get over the fact that the Luceti animals could speak. It made wanting to experiment on a few of them difficult - though he was still curious about some of the more unfamiliar animals. Nephry and Ion would never let his dissect one though.]
If you're finished, Fon Master...
[Sorry to bust up the chat, but Dist had places to be, he's not going to play babysitter for the rest of the day if he can help it. Though he does want to see that Ion's not running up another tree anytime soon, too.]
[Action]
[He turns back to Dist and smiles, straightening up his back. He was still a little sore from sitting in that tree for so long. And as much as he felt like going back home to rest for the day, he knew it'd be better to keep moving for awhile. And besides, he still needed to go to the library...]
Dist, you wouldn't happen to be heading towards the plaza, would you?
[Action]
...That was my intention, yes. I needed to return the books I had taken out of the library some time ago, and perhaps pick up some new ones. I also need to take a visit to the smithy to look for some materials. Were you headed that way as well, Fon Master?
[If he was, good, Dist could keep an eye on him for a little while. Heaven knows how long the boy had been stuck in that tree. Maybe they could get a snack at the bakery, too. Or at least some water...Ion should stay hydrated in the warmer weather of Luceti.]
[Action]
[It's probably a good thing Dist would be there too, so Ion could avoid anymore potential height-hazards involved with trying to reach the higher-up books.]
[Action]
[This was excellent! Dist could take care of his business and keep an eye on Ion as well this way. And perhaps they could recommend books to eachother as well. Dist needed something good to read again. Those mystery stories were just what he liked.]
Shall we be going now? Or do you need another moment to rest a while?
[Action]
[He was up there for an hour, at least, if not a little longer. He still feels a bit tired, but that should pass in time.]
[Action]
I think a bit of lunch beforehand sounds like a good idea. I hope you don't object, Ion.
[Action]
[And yes, he says this knowing it is now lunchtime.]
[Action]
Well, let's hope we don't come across any more distractions then. Come along, Fon Master, I'd like to finish my tasks before the day is done.
[Action]
[Though it's probably a good thing Dist is walking at a slower pace. By the time they reach the plaza, Ion's feeling just a little dizzy. Over-exerting himself on top of skipping a meal when the weather was so warm wasn't the best combination for a weak replica like Ion. He's doing his best to ignore it, though he certainly sounds tired.]
Perhaps we could find something good at the bakery?
[Action]
Rest here a moment, Fon Master, I'll retrieve the items myself. Did you want anything specific?
[Action]
I should be all right with whatever you can find, as long as it isn't too sweet. And perhaps some water to drink as well?
[Action]
[And Dist will nod his head and walk toward the village square. it really doesn't take him long at all - a few minutes at best - but picking out something for Ion from the bakery seemed the harder task. He...really has no idea what to bring back for Ion. Just about everything in the bakery is sweet! He chews his lip, then swttles on some peculiar looking bread (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/be/Melonpan.jpg/800px-Melonpan.jpg), fashioned to look almost like a turtle. For himself, a simple apple tart.
Once he returns, he hands Ion the sweet and a bottle of water.]
Forgive me for taking longer than expected...I wasn't certain of your tastes, Fon Master. I hope this will suffice.
[Action] 1/2
[Of course, Dist could have brought back a sugar-glazed jelly doughnut, and Ion would have still shown him just as much gratitude for going out of his way to help.]
It's all right. Thank you, Dist.
[And so he takes a bite!]
[Action]
[Hopefully Dist won't think much of the fact that, two bites in, Ion already drank half of that water bottle.]
[It wasn't bad, it wasn't bad at all! But while the bread itself wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, the crispy outside was. But it's hard to find things at the bakery that aren't too sweet, so he's not in any position to complain.]
[Not that he would anyway, but still.]
[Action]
Dist chooses to stand and lean against the trunk of the tree to eat, not wanting to dirty his clothes on the grass and soil. He finishes after Ion does, and after wiping his face and taking a drink of his own water, Dist offers a hand to help Ion stand.]
I hope it was satisfactory, Fon Master. Now, you said you wanted to go to the library next? Do you feel well enough to make the walk, or shall we head home instead?
