[After being flung into countless numbers of trees from the third party's traps during the last draft, Ion swore to himself he'd never climb another tree for as long as he lived. Obviously, he didn't count on finding a baby bird having fallen out of its nest when he made that declaration. And with the mother bird calling for her child overhead, Ion couldn't just leave the poor thing there to die.]
[Thankfully, getting to the top of the tree where the nest was had been surprisingly easy! Getting down... not so much. He didn't notice the lower branch breaking until after he stepped off of it, and now that he was on his way down, he found himself stuck. He wasn't too high up, but this particular tree had quite a few thorn bushes around it. He'd been able to avoid them going up for the most part, but if he were to try jumping, the chance of him falling into one of these bushes was rather high. He wasn't too far off the path, just a ways north of the village, so hopefully someone will spot him.]
[Though, in restrospect, today was probably a bad day to wear green.]
~
[Assuming the princess is eventually rescued, Ion will be spending the remainder of the day at the library in search of a few new books to read before eventually returning home, his clothes still looking a bit worse for wear.]
[[ooc: Feel free to break time and space for the first part, or run into him walking towards the library looking... well, like he fell out of a tree.]]

You know what, he probably already went back. We should just go back.

[So reassuring, isn't she? But she doesn't hear or feel him nearby, so...]

Sokka? Master Toph?
[...well, he's not going to forget the title. That would be rude.]

Sorry, she thought the princess was in another tree.If it's the library Ion's at, then Vorona's already beaten him to the punch. She's sitting at a table, surrounded by stacks of books (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3240/3292430415_c5b318a59e.jpg) arranged neatly before her. Currently, she's leafing through a rather large looking specimen at a speed that has her turning the page at an average of once every five seconds. But her speed-reading doesn't prevent her from looking up at the young boy when he passes, giving him a brief glance over before returning to her reading. ]
There is the presence of a twig in your hair, if you find it necessary to remove it.

[He almost shoots out an apology for staring when she looks up, but her comment throws him off.]
...a twig? [Aaand pulling it out now.] Oh, I must have missed this one. Thank you.

Tree climbing, for most, may be seen as a recreational activity, a temporary setback, or a flight of fancy. [ She starts rambling off, matter-of-factly, as she picks up a rather light looking booklet similar to a magazine. ] For a figure of your physique, it might be best recommended to use the addition of a rope, harness, and a helmet for safety. Otherwise, very dangerous.

If it isn't too much trouble. I didn't realize getting back down would pose such a problem...
[Action]
Burn her!]I can see that. Well, I've carried a lot heavier people than you on this thing. Climb on.

He turns back to the shelf in front of him. It's none of his business, and it'd be strange to ask after what they'd undergone in that experiment. But . . . perhaps Ion was hurt --
Then he wouldn't be in the library. Hmmm.]

[And though they may not have spoken since that last experiment, it seemed rude not to say something. After all, based on what Ion can recall from that life, he was rather fond of him.]

What're you doing up there?

I climbed up here to help a bird back into its nest after it fell, but the lower branches broke. And I haven't been able to find a way down.

Yes. The branches broke when I was climbing up and I haven't found a way to get down safely...
