027 ~ [Action]
[The past few days have been rather strange for Ion. Between all the problems stemming off of what happened on Christmas eve and the incident with Kohan, something new has started happening. Something he can't quite explain.]
[It started out of nowhere. Just like that day when he was returned from the malnosso, he awoke with a sharp pain running down his arms and legs. But this time it felt different -- stronger. And it took more than a few minutes before he finally felt stable enough to move out of bed. For awhile, he thought perhaps it was nothing. Maybe he was just feeling a little sore from all the stress? It wouldn't be the first time stress had affected his health, after all.]
[But then it happened again at the library. And that was only a few hours after a rather nasty fall while walking around the village, scraping the palms of his hands and his knees. He's lucky it was snowing earlier that day, or it might have been even worse! But in the library, all he had been doing was sitting and reading. And then, once he tried to move again to find another book, his legs prickled with pain, pulling him back down where he'd been sitting.]
[Something was wrong. But what should he do? Would it be right to bring this up, knowing it might be nothing? Especially if it does turn out to be nothing, in which case he'd just be causing undue stress for the others. And he can't help but think back to that last conversation with Nephry...]
[Which is why he'll be popping over to go visit a certain friend, without notice -- rather unlike him, but he didn't exactly want to make the trek back home to fetch his journal. He'll just have to hope he's home...]
[After that, he'll be making his way home. But given the snow still falling and covering the ground, he won't be having a very easy time of it. At least the snow will provide a soft landing for when he trips over his own feet.]
--
((ooc: Hey guys! So this post is basically the starting point for a little plot I've got going for Ion. Feel free to catch him anywhere around the village, including: the plaza, Seventh Heaven, the library, walking towards C4, or making his way back to House 1.))

So, how close will he come to tripping right over Ion.]
[action]
[Of course, he's not going to realize who's walking past him until he actually walks past him, so Luke might hear a voice call to him as he hurries past.]
Oh-- Luke!
[action]
That's a surprise. Ion usually tells him when he's coming along. He turns back with his brows raised, looking a bit confused.]
Ion? What're you doing here?
[action]
[He's still sitting. In truth, he's afraid to stand up. He's been sitting here for a little while now, and he remembers the pain he felt back at the library.]
I hope this isn't a bad time, but... there's something I wanted to talk with you about.

She doesn't pay it any mind, staring at Ion for a few more seconds before returning to her book. Now she has to find her spot again, bah!]
[Action]
[Eventually he straightens up, taking deep breaths to try and will away the uneasy churn in his stomach brought on by the surge of pain.]
[Action]
Siiigh...might as well check up on him. Taking care of that stupid swordsman must've made her soft, she swears this is all his fault.]
Oi. You. [Scraping back her chair as she stands up, Perona approaches Ion slowly.] Are you going to be all right, boy? You look faint.
[Action]
A-Ah, yes, I'm all right. I must have been sitting for too long and my legs fell asleep. It surprised me a bit when I tried standing a moment ago...

[Action] - Have a Vulcan
Greetings Master Ion. How are you this day?
[Action] :D
Oh, hello Spock. [But he smiles anyway.] I'm all right. Though it's rather cold today, isn't it? I'm beginning to think that I should have stayed indoors...
Re: [Action]
....he doesn't buy it.]
That is a most logical conclusion... however, you are not well. [Not a question... have a stubborn Vulcan.]
[Action]
[He's rather at a loss of what to say for a few moments.] That's... I'm probably coming down with something. It's always like this for me in the winter, so I suppose I'm just used to it.
[Well. It's technically the truth.]

She smiles as Ion as he starts to approach, not really planning on stopping to chat, just a friendly nod and a smile. That was until Ion fell, Vash runs over shortly after it happens.]
Hey! Are you alright?
[Action]
[Thankfully, he doesn't seem to be hurt.] A-Ah, yes, I'm all right! I must have tripped on a rock under the snow. Today probably wasn't the best day for a walk...
[Action]
[Action]
[With a soft laugh -- he reaches to take Vash's hand and pull himself up. His knees are pretty caked in snow, but there are also traces of it pretty much all over his clothes. You'd think he'd rolled down a hill or something.]

[So he gives it a second before decided to walk over and see what was the matter- best to stay informed, in a place like this.]
I've seen infants more graceful than that. [And of course has to be a dick about it.]
[action]
The snow is just more slippery than I expected today. [He almost slipped in an apology there -- though for what, he's not sure. But he manages to stand up well enough after that. He hadn't been crouching nearly long enough for his legs to seize up again, though he had been staying down to inspect the damage to his hands when he caught himself. Clearly he should invest in some thicker gloves...]
[action]
It didn't look like a slip. [Usually when someone slips, their feet slide, and they try to compensate by moving their legs to catch themselves- but he was pretty sure he hadn't seen that happen. But it's possible he was judging incorrectly, though he's not one to go back on what he thinks is the facts.]
You wouldn't lie to me now, would you?

Library action
His book had answers so why not a book here? As he seems to be moving through the shelves he's passed by the boy with green hair a few times. Until he stops when he notices the boy look of pain as he sits back down.]
Hey, are you okay?
Library - Action
A-Ah, yes, I'm all right. I think I just tried to stand up a bit too quickly a moment ago.

Ion? Are you hurt? [Because even a short fall on the stairs might be enough to break him.]
[action, later]
I-I think I'm all right. [He's entirely out of breath, heart still racing from the shock. He doesn't feel hurt, aside from the scrape on his forehead where he hit the floor, but... that could have ended much worse. He starts to pull himself up into a sitting position, but he's still shaking quite a bit. And for whatever reason, his legs just aren't cooperating, so he's sitting a bit... oddly.]
